I have it saved as my computer's background. It's easy to get lost in all the

beautiful things in the world and pine after them, but I need to remember that the things

I have are pretty great and I have a pretty darn great life.

Chic Halloween Decor

It's finally here! I LOVE me some Halloween.

In fact, it's my favorite holiday and I start celebrating mid-July.

Poppin Modern Home Office Supplies

I went shopping for one of my client's kids work spaces the other day and had a blast shopping for chic home office supplies. For kids, there is a ton of bright, fun accessories to liven up their work spaces.

As an adult though, I lean towards more minimal

HOME OFFICE SUPPLIES

so I can at least appear clean and organized as I work.

Poppin. gave me just what I need for my new home office. I wouldn't mind leaving the scissors out of the drawer when they look that good! White not your thing? Poppin has color coordinated sets so if hot pink is more up your alley, they have a collection for you!

House Crush: Style At Home, All Dressed In White

Because I work with color all day everyday, I am always drawn to rooms that are

ALL DRESSED IN WHITE.

It can be tricky to pull off, as it can easily look 'stale,' but when done right

all white rooms can be restful and timelessly chic.

White Trestle Desk Progress

I am having my Down East Outfitter's desk refinished this week!! Yay! After hours of sweltering in the sun last Saturday (with the help from a new friend), the blue has almost been sanded off and 2/3 of the desk has been painted in this color:

It's not the brightest white but it was the brightest white at Lowes. After a few more coats are sprayed, my desk will soon look like this:

But hotter. Way hotter.

(My trestles are beefier and much more chic, in my humble opinion.)

My eBay Antone Lorenz chair has arrived at a local freight warehouse, so I've been scouring the web looking for decently priced cowhides to make my own version of this:
