Grey & Peach: Happy Pinning Accident

Have you Pinners out there ever noticed sometimes your pins
look absolutely amazing together?  It has happened a few times to me, actually.
I'll just be pinning unrelated pieces and when I review my pin history I think
"holy crap, those look good together!"  I created a board from my latest "AHA" moment.

We all know I'm a fan of gold and grey but I would never have thought to add some
golden peach tones into the mix, if it weren't for this
GREY & PEACH
happy accident.

I die over the pair of abstract paintings.  The layering of different mediums
(oil, pencil, pieces of checks and invoices, etc.) is stunning:

So pretty and feminine with a little edge. Perfection.

And those chairs??  BANANAS. They remind me of the
Milo Baughman's classic lounge chair but updated with a sleeker more slender frame.

Halston + Florals

Being stuck behind a desk all day is not fun when the weather outside is so gorgeous.
I am daydreaming of pairing
HALSTON GOWNS WITH FLORALS.

What do you think? Match made in heaven?

Pinterest: Brass Accents Paired With White

My Pinterest boards are not only filled with pieces with brass accents,
but I have realized I am especially drawn to
BRASS ACCENTS PAIRED WITH WHITE.

Isn't this quote fabulous?
I have it saved as my computer's background. It's easy to get lost in all the
beautiful things in the world and pine after them, but I need to remember that the things
I have are pretty great and I have a pretty darn great life.

I hope you are having a wonderful week!

Desk Lust: Vintage French Desk

Over the weekend, I came across this gorgeous
VINTAGE FRENCH DESK.
Chrome? Brass? Glass? French? Vintage???
Why yes, please. I'll take two, thank you.

Pinterest: Brass Accents

Hi, my name is Brooke Jones and I'm addicted to
Pinterest.
("Hi, Brooke...")

Pinterest is a funny thing.  I have come to realize it can reveal a lot about your personal tastes and interests.
Has anyone out there realized you have pinned the same image more than once?
Or several items really similar to each other?
Well, I was  browsing around my boards and realized, WOW, I really like
BRASS ACCENTS.
Take a peak at some of the furniture pieces I've pinned to see what I mean:

Hmm... I wonder what I psychiatrist would have to say about this...

What have you been pinning lately?

Addendum:
I had a few requests for the link to my Pinterest boards, so feel free to follow away!

{I hope you don't mind all the gluten and dairy free recipes.  Such is my life now.}

Brass Lighting Love: Fort Knox Pendant

I adore globe pendants and have used plain glass in several interior design projects.
Lately I've had my eye on pendants that are a little more edgy and glam.
My latest crush is on the
FORT KNOX PENDANT.
It's a bit retro, a bit uber modern, and drenched in chic ambiance.

How gorg would these be in a cluster in an all-white kitchen with coordinating brass hardware?
These aren't helping my current brass addiction but maybe that's not a bad thing?

Rachel Zoe Fashion Office with WhoWhatWear

I go BANANAS over Rachel Zoe.
I love her sense of glamour that is mainly based in 70's luxury brands.
I would do just about anything to get into her closet but I'll have to settle for
this photo shoot that takes a sneak peak into
RACHEL ZOE'S FASHION OFFICE.

Have you died yet?  Don't worry. It gets better...

The above image is of her vintage archives. I. Die.

Ok, I really can't take the mass beauty of these shoes.
Let's switch over to the interior design aspects of the office before the drool literally streams down my chin.

Love those x-backed open shelves.

A vintage mirrored coffee table is a natural choice.
One day, I WILL have an office this gorgeous. One day...

Accordion Pleat Skirt

Happy November!! I die over this burnt orange
ACCORDION PLEAT SKIRT
and think it would be perfect for these transitional days into cooler weather.

So chic. So effortless. So 70's.

I am presenting my first design-in-a-box today.
Hope they love it and I can show you pics of the final product shortly!!

Missoni Styled Chevron Tile

The fashion house of Missoni has been all the rage the past few weeks with it's limited edition line for Target.
The items are cute but well, I'd rather have a
MISSONI INSPIRED TILE BACKSPLASH.

Bananas.

{I was blonde a didn't record where I found this image.  Anyone out there know?}

Yves Saint Laurent Print

I have decided that this YSL PRINT vignette is from the home of...
