Perfect Pair: Jonathan Adler + Charlotte Moss

Greatest. Interview. Ever.  I have always adored Jonathan's quirky mod spirit and I fell in love with Charlotte's southern charm when she visited my university.  Who thought the two would be so great together?

Thanks TradHome!

Go Shorty...

I'm going to take a day off from interior design in lieu of my birthday.  I couldn't leave my readers hanging, so here are some pretty images to inspire you. (Is it too self-indulgent to have a birthday post on your own blog?  Oh well. My blog. My birthday.)  Happy April 11th!!!!

I had to add Marilyn. Such a cute photo of her, no?

eMag: High Gloss Spring Issue

Ladies and gentlemen, I have a new obsession. It's called High Gloss Magazine.  With more and more eMags flooding the internet these days, High Gloss stands out as a shiny fabulous star.  I tried to find just one space to highlight on my blog, but that proofed to be an impossible task.  Check out my two favorite spaces from this season's installment:

Are those X-Benches I see?

I am drooling over the classic modern pieces interior designer, Mary McGee,  used, like Phillipe Starck's Louis Chair and Bertoia's Side Chairs. Grrrr.....

Lucite, fur, linen.... what's not to love?

And check out this dream pad.  I think this may be my dream home (again, it's the whole black floors with high gloss white, thing I love.  The zebra runner doesn't hurt either!)

Can you see why I'm obsessed??
Check out more (like Dianne VonFurstenberg's new home line and tons of summer fashion) here.

Madeline Weinrib's Brooke Rug

Yep. Looks like these rugs are accurately named. They are definitely Brooke rugs.

Check out all of Madeline's fabulous rugs here.

Chanel + Pink + Spring

I love Spring. I love pink. I love Chanel.  I couldn't decide which to post, so I am doing all three.  Enjoy!

High Contrast Two-Toned Furniture

Can't decide what color of casegood to add to your space? Well, you won't have to decide on just one finish with two-toned pieces!  Two-toned accents add a little retro glam and interest to a space.  If you are looking for a way out of the "matchy-matchy" coffee/end/console table rut, try throwing in one of these character pieces.

The above piece is only $119 @ Target!! Who says style has to cost a fortune?

You can even create this look with your kitchen cabinetry!
How chic is this room? (Leave it to Sarah Richardson to try this in a kitchen)

Dwell Studios for Global Views

Some things just belong together.  That's why I think Global Views pairing up with Dwell Studio is a match made in design heaven.

The polished sophistication Global Views is known for is getting a jolt of retro 70's patterns and texture.  Check out my favorite pieces from the new collection:

Diamond Cube

Diamond Cut Vase

Gold Ribbons Drinking Glass Tall

Gold Triangle Drinking Glass Short

Tubular Metal Burst with Stone Base

Golden Gates Lacquered Tray

Trellis Lacquered Tray

Linking Trellis Double Bulb Vases
I think I need one of everything. Maybe two...

The collection is debuting this month at High Point.  I am excited to hear what the design community thinks of the chic collection!
